I.  The Trinity
We believe in one God, the Creator of all things, who reveals Himself as Father, Son and Spirit.
(Matthew 3:16-17; 28:19-20; II Corinthians 13:14)
II.  Jesus Christ
We believe in Jesus Christ, who fully God and fully man at the same time, who became like us to
bring about our salvation.  (John 1:1-18; Philippians 2:5-11; Colossians 1:12-20)
III.   The Holy Spirit
1        We believe in the Holy Spirit who is active in the world, bringing us to salvation.  (John
14:15-18, 26;  16:7-15; Romans 8:1-17)
IV.  The Holy Scriptures
We believe that the Bible is the word of God, giving us all we need to know about how to be saved.
(II Timothy 3:15-17; II Peter 1:20-21)
V.  Sin, Original & Personal
We believe that we are all sinners by both nature and act and need God’s forgiveness and
cleansing.  (Genesis 2; Romans 3:23; 5:12-14; 6:15-23)
VI.  Atonement
We believe that Jesus Christ died on the Cross and that, by trusting in His death, we can be
restored to a right relation to God.  (Isaiah 53:5-6, 11; John 3:14-17; Romans 3:21-26)
VII.  Free Agency
We believe that God has enabled us to turn to Him from sin but that He has not forced us to do so.
(Genesis 2:16-17; Joshua 24:15; John 1:12)
VIII.  Repentance
We believe that each person must repent, turn away from his sins, and trust Christ to accept him.
(Isaiah 55:6-7; II Corinthians 7:8-10; II Peter 3:9)
IX.  Justification, Regeneration and Adoption
We believe that when we turn from sin and trust in Christ, the old record of sin is wiped clean, and
we are born anew thus becoming part of the family of God.  (Titus 3:4-7; 1 John 1:9; 3:1-2)
X.  Entire Santification
We believe that after being born anew, we need the fullness of God’s Spirit in our hearts.  When
we make a complete commitment to Him, He cleanses our spirit, fills us with His perfect love and
gives us the power to live victoriously.  (John 14:15-18; I Thessalonians 5:23 – 24; Hebrews 13:12;
I John 1:7, 9)
XI.  The Church
We believe in the church, a community confessing Christ as Lord, and made up of those who have
been changed by Christ.  (I Corinthians 12:12-31; Ephesians 5:25-27)
XII.  Baptism
We believe in baptism and urge people to be baptized as Christians.  (Matthew 28:16-20; Acts
2:37-41)
XIII.  The Lord's Supper
We believe in the Lord’s Supper.  (Matthew 28:26-29; I Corinthians 11:23-26)
XIV.  Divine Healing
We believe God can heal.  We pray for healing.  We also believe that God can work through
medical science.  (Matthew 9:18-35; James 5:13-16)
XV.  Second Coming of Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ is coming again.  (John 14:1-3; Acts 1:9-11; I Thessalonians 4:13-18)
XVI.  Resurrection, Judgment, and Destiny
We believe that everyone shall face the judgment of God with its rewards and punishments.  (John
3:16-18; 5:25-29)
